Mukhang Pera By The Youth

I have totally forgotten about this song and had the chance to listen to it again when I rode my officemate's car on the way to a team outing activity. It's too bad that the Youth met it's demise early on it's career. The song has great and thought provoking lyrics, great guitar work and the bass lines are top notch. It's one of the songs that really brings me back to those days.

Mukhang pera

Mundo'y umiikot sa pera
Mukha kang pera
Kamukha ka ni Ninoy
Mukha kang pera

Kamukha ka ni Ninoy
Kamukha ka ni Ninoy

Take a Picture by Filter

Me and Astrud were spending our weekend on Lilom Resort in Batangas. The place was picturesque and as I was going to go for a bathroom break, this song suddenly came to my head. I had this love and hate thing about taking pictures. I believe there are moments that are meant to live in our heads and not immortalized by pictures. That's just the way I really am I guess.

Awake on my airplane
Awake on my airplane
My skin is bare
My skin is theirs
Awake on my airplane
Awake on my airplane
My skin is bare
My skin is theirs

I feel like newborn
And I feel like a newborn
Awake on my airplane
Awake on my airplane
I feel so real

Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember - yeah

I don't believe in
I don't believe in your sanctity your prophecy
I don't believe inI don't believe in sanctity or hypocrisy
Can everyone agree that no one should be left alone
Can everyone agree that they should not be left alone
And I feel like a newborn
And I feel like a newborn (kicking and screaming)

Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember - yeah

Hey dad what do you think about your son now?
Hey dad what do you think about your son now?

Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember
Could you take my picture
Cause I won't remember - yeah

Seasons by Chris Cornell

I've recently re-discovered Chris Cornell and increased my appreciation for this wonderful vocalist. The reason was his part in the Pearl Jam documentary, PJ20, in which he appeared speaking in park primarily as one of the key figures in the Seattle/Grunge movement during the early 90s.

I actually saw a few months back the Singles movie on whose soundtrack this song appears, but that rekindled appreciation for another artist (specifically Paul Westerberg).

This is, however, my first time appreciating this song. I'm just amazed on how beautiful it is considering the fact it just has an acoustic guitar and Cornell's voice.

Summer nights and long warm days
Are stolen as the old moon falls
My mirror shows another face
Another place to hide it all
Another place to hide it all

And I'm lost, behind
The words I'll never find
And I'm left behind
As seasons roll on by

Sleeping with a full moon blanket
Sand and feathers for my head
Dreams have never been the answer
And dreams have never made my bed
Dreams have never made my bed

And I'm lost, behind
The words I'll never find
And I'm left behind
As seasons roll on by

Now I want to fly above the storm
But you can't grow feathers in the rain
And the naked floor is cold as hell
This naked floor reminds me
Oh the naked floor reminds me

And I'm lost, behind
Words I'll never find
And I'm left behind
As seasons roll on by

If I should be short on words
And long on things to say
Could you crawl into my world
And take me worlds away
Should I be beside myself
And not even stay

And I'm lost, behind
Words I'll never find
And I'm left behind
As seasons roll on by

Dandy Life by Collective Soul

I believe this is song may stand as somewhat unique in the Collective Soul library, primarily because it was sang by Ross Childress instead of default vocalist Ed Roland. Roland's voice can still be heard though doing backup duties on the chorus part.

One thing I like about the song is that it seems to be simple, starting with what seems to be a electronic drum back beat and jangling of guitars. This is one of my favorites among the Collective Soul catalog.

Took a walk to a caution scene
I guess I crossed the line somehow
And if I lost some of your hope
I'm sorry for the folly was all mine

And I don't ever really understand
All the things we say
But I try to anyway
Anyhow

For what's in a day of a dandy life
For what's in a day of this dandy life
Everything, Everything, Everything

Hangin' on every way
My social butterfly
Everyone wants to be loved
Loved in their own way

I can say I spent the night
On the telephone inside, When you said that
every single one of us can find a happy face
So why don't you go try
To Try anyway

And I suppose I was born yesterday
'Cause I never thought of things quite
In that way at all
and in that way

For what's in a day of a dandy life
For what's in a day of this dandy life
Everything, Everything, Everything

Hangin' on every way
My social butterfly
Everyone wants to be loved
Loved in their own way, way

Everyone wants to be loved
Loved in their own way, way
Hangin' on every way

Kabataan Para Sa Kinabukasan by Francis M

I rediscovered this song while watching Eat Bulaga's episode last saturday. They featured kids whom they granted scholarships back in 2009 and graduate this year 2013. Gloc 9 and Michael V sang this song, both a  tribute and a challenge to the Filipino Youth.

I'm not sure as to what the state of rap is in the Philippines nowadays. I guess we have good rappers now, Loonie and Abra are 2 people that come to mind. Gloc 9 is another, But no one still comes close to Francis M. Di kailangan ni FrancisM mag-mura... Ikaw ang mapapamura sa mga lyrics nya.

Kapag ang tao'y masipag, tumatatag ang buhay,
Nagsusumikap kahit mahirap, ialay
Ang pawis sa kinabukasan,
at nang tayong lahat ma-biyayaan,
At huwag kalilimutan
At laging tandaan ang hagdang
paitaas ang siyang laging tahakin
Anuman ang iyong gawin,
kahit yun at yun din, gawin mong magaling at sa
puso'y manggaling

Nasa palad mo ang kapalaran,
kabataan para sa kinabukasan
Oras ay ginto, gamitin ng mahusay,
dahil and oras ay walang hinihintay

Peace - Kapayapaan
Nature - Kalikasan
Children - Kabataan

Ang kabataan, kalikasan para sa kinabukasan,
Iwasan ang pagkakamaling ating naranasan
Oras nang magtubos,
daigdig natin 'wag sayangin,
'wag hayaang maubos
Oras na para kumilos (Make a stand)
Magkapit bisig para sa daigdig (Hand in hand)
Mulat na kabataan ang sagot,
'wag masasangkot sa ipinagbabawal na gamot
Kundi'y gamitin ang talino,
maging tunay na bayani, makabagong Pilipino

Sulong kabataan, ipakita ang lakas,
tunay at wagas na pag-asa ng bukas

Nasa palad mo ang kapalaran
kabataan para sa kinabukasan
Oras ay ginto, gamitin ng mahusay,
Dahil and oras ay walang hinihintay

Coffee & TV by Blur

I saw the video for this when I was in high school which featured a milk cartoon. I liked how the song sounded in general, but it was only yesterday when I got to read the lyrics to the song and have found a new level of appreciation for it.

Being an Oasis fan, I now appreciate Blur's music. I've come to realize that, maybe, Noel Gallagher's spite of Blur came from the fact that Blur represented a different kind of music, music that was also as good if not better than Oasis's.

Do you feel like a chain store?
Practically floored
One of many zeros
Kicked around bored
Your ears are full but your empty
Holding out your heart
To people who never really
Care how you are

So give me Coffee and TV
History
I've seen so much
I'm goin blind
And i'm braindead virtually
Sociability
It's hard enough for me
Take me away from this big bad world
And agree to marry me
So we can start all over again

Do you go to the country
It isn't very far
There's people there who will hurt you
Cos of who you are

Your ears are full of the language
There's wisdom there you're sure
'Til the words start slurring
And you can't find the door

So give me Coffee and TV
History
I've seen so much
I'm goin blind
And i'm braindead virtually
Sociability
It's hard enough for me
Take me away from this big bad world
And agree to marry me
So we can start all over again

So give me Coffee and TV
History
I've seen so much
I'm goin blind
And i'm braindead virtually
Sociability
It's hard enough for me
Take me away from this big bad world
And agree to marry me
So we can start all over again

Oh...we could start over again
Oh...we could start over again
Oh...we could start over again
Oh...we could start over again

Faithfull by Pearl Jam

After 15 years, Yield may now be my favorite Pearl Jam album. This after viewing the documentary Pearl Jam: Twenty. It's a must view for any fan, diehard or casual. It helped me understand what's are the factors , experiences and circumstances that made Pearl Jam that band it is today comparing it to the band of the 1st two albums.

After viewing the documentary, this is the song that I most remember from it. Instead of hearing"mediocrity" and "soft", I now hear the grit, truth and emotion in this Pearl Jam song.

Plaque on the wall says that no one's slept here
It's rare to come upon a bridge that has not been around
Or been stepped on
Whatever the notions, we laced in our prayers
The man upstairs is used to all of this noise
I'm through with screaming
And echoes nobody hears, it goes, it goes, it goes
Like echoes nobody hears, it goes, it goes, it goes
We're faithful, we all believe, we all believe it
And echoes nobody hears, it goes, it goes, it goes
We're faithful, we all believe, we all believe it
So faithful, we all believe, we all believe it

M.Y.T.H. is…
Belief in the game controls that keeps us in a box of fear
We never listen
Voice inside so drowned out
Drowned you are, you are, you are everything
And everything is you
Me you, you me, it's all related
What's a boy to do?
Just be darling and I will be too
Faithful to you

Stuck On You by Dave Matthews/Elvis Presley

Saw this on TV as part of an Elvis tribute video that was broadcasted as part of the release of the ELV1S: 30 #1 Hits album. I was never a Dave Matthews fan then, not a big fan up to now, but there's just something with the lyric of the song ( (I'm gonna stick like glue) that "stuck" on me.

You can shake an apple off an apple tree
Shake-a, shake- sugar,
But you'll never shake me
Uh-uh-uh
No-sir-ee, uh, uh
I'm gonna stick like glue,
Stick because I'm
Stuck on you

Gonna run my fingers thru your long black hair
Squeeze you tighter than a grizzly bear
Uh-uh-uh,
Yes-sir-ee, uh, uh
I'm gonna stick like glue
Stick, because I'm
Stuck on you

Hide in the kitchen, hide in the hall
Ain't gonna do you no good at all
'Cause once I catch ya and the kissin' starts
A team o' wild horses couldn't tear us apart

Try to take a tiger from his daddy's side
That's how love is gonna keep us tied
Uh-uh-uh
Yes-sir-ee, uh,uh
I'm gonna stick like glue
Stick, because I'm
Stuck on you

Pocketful of Rainbows By Elvis Presley

I discovered this song today, while Astrud and I were doing some travel plans. I put my iPod on shuffle and this song was one of the songs that made an impression. I liked it enough to say that this is the song for today, ranking over Tears for Fears' Woman in Chain (which Astrud and I danced to) and Pupil's sa Dulo ng Dila. I guess it's really hard to top an Elvis Song.

I don't worry
Whenever skies are gray above
Got a pocketful of rainbows
Got a heart full of love

Mister Heartache
I've found a way to make him leave
Got a pocketful of rainbows
Got a star up in my sleeve

Kiss me extra tender
Hold me extra tight
'Cause I'm savin' your sweetness
For a lonely night, aye
Aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye

No more teardrops
Now that I've found a love so true
I got a pocketful of rainbows
Got an armful of you

Kiss me extra tender
Hold me extra tight
'Cause I'm savin' your sweetness
For a lonely night, aye
Aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye

No more teardrops
Now that I've found a love so true
Got a pocketful of rainbows
And an armful of you

Rainbows...
Rainbows...

Scooter Boy by Mojofly

Originally, I dismissed this song as a Avril Lavigne, Skater Boy rip-off. It would be years until I realized how great a song it really is. (I'll be honest, Kitchie Nadal getting famous and being really pretty helped in getting to understand this song i guess)

Walang ginawa kungdi mag TV-babad

Scooter Boy, Nasan Ka?
Scooter Boy, Nasan Ka?
Scooter Boy

Bawat klase niya ay tinutulugan
Pumapasok lang hangat umabot sa attendance
Matinik sa chicks sobrang pilyo pero bobo
Pagdating sa kalokohan siya ang number 1
Di paiiwan

Scooter Boy, Nasan Ka?
Scooter Boy, Nasan Ka?
Scooter Boy

What You Do About Me by M2M

This song brings me back to my college days, when life had its share of problems... but we had M2M on MTV, so it was all OK.

I wish that I was her and I wish that she was me
You gotta let her go, and I know that you agree
Because how could this ever start?
If you're afraid to break her heart?
You say you love me so
You have to let her go

All that she wants is you
All that she sees is you
All that you gotta do
It's to set her free
That's what
That's what
What you do about me

Love's not an easy thing
Always somebody gets hurt
I know you were meant for me, even though she saw you first
But deal with her honestly
I won't let you cheat with me
I bet you never knew
What you got yourself into

All that she wants is you
All that she sees is you
All that you gotta do
It's to set her free
That's what
That's what
What you do about me

We could beautiful
We could be so special
We could be wonderful

All that I want is you
All that I see is you
and All that you gotta do
It's to set her free
That's what
That's what
What you do about me

All that she wants is you
All that she sees is you
All that you gotta do
It's to set her free
That's what
That's what
What you do about me

Sugar Kane by Sonic Youth

I believe I first heard of this song via the End of Days soundtrack which my brother Augy brought home for one reason and one reason only. The soundtrack  "Oh My God", the first Guns 'N Roses song to come-out of Axl's heavily revamped GNR lineup. While that song was good in it's own way, one of this Sonic Youth song was the song that really made an impression on me (the album contained songs from other bands like I liked by the way... Korn, Limp Bizkit, Creed, Eminem, etc.)

It would be years when I would encounter a copy of Sonic Youth's own album, Dirty, which has a sock-puppet pictured on the cover. My own copy would be literally dirty... smudged and frazzled edges in the inlays,  as it was a used copy that I bought at a 2nd hand store in Quiapo.

I tried to learn this song today on bass as well. Sometimes I still can't believe how great songs like this can be created out of 3 guitar chords that I learned as a 4th grade kid (C, D, G).

You're perfect in the way, a perfect end today
You're burning out their lights, and burning in their eyes
I love you Sugar Kane, a-comin' from the rain
Oh kiss me like a frog, and turn me into flame
I love you all the time, I need you 8 to 9
And I can stay all night, your body shining

And I know
There's something down there sugar soul
Back to the cross a twisted lane
There something down there sugar kane

I'm back again in love, I'm back again a dove
Where'd you get your light, your smilin' sugar life
Another lovers day, another cracked up night
Every night I say, the light is coming

And I know
There's something down there sugar cone
Back to the cross a twisted lane
There's something down there sugar kane

Hey angel come and play, and fly me away
A stroll along the beach, until you're out of time
I love you sugar kane, a crack into the dream
I love you sugar kane, I love you sugar kane
I love you sugar kane, I love you sugar kane
I love you sugar kane, I love you sugar

Good Time by Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen

Hey, I'm an equal opportunity guy, and this song is jumping and so happy it's difficult to resist to dance to it. I'm not big on Owl City, but synth sounds are always welcome to my ears. This song definitely lives up to it's name. I came across this song from youtube, while searching for something I can no longer remember, maybe a search for Carly Rae Jepsen. Somehow I think she's cute too.

Whoa-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Whoa-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time

Woke up on the right side of the bed
What's up with this Prince song inside my head?
Hands up if you're down to get down tonight
'Cause it's always a good time

Slept in all my clothes like I didn't care
Hopped into a cab, take me anywhere
I'm in if you're down to get down tonight
'Cause it's always a good time

Good morning and good night
I'll wake up at twilight
It's gonna be alright
We don't even have to try
It's always a good time

Whoa-oh-oh-oh Whoa-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Whoa-oh-oh-oh Whoa-oh-oh-oh
We don't even have to try, it's always a good time.

Freaked out, dropped my phone in the pool again
Checked out of my room, hit the ATM
Let's hang out if you're down to get down tonight
'Cause it's always a good time

Good morning and good night
I'll wake up at twilight
It's gonna be alright
We don't even have to try
It's always a good time.

Whoa-oh-oh-oh Whoa-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Whoa-oh-oh-oh Whoa-oh-oh-oh
We don't even have to try, it's always a good time.

Whoa-oh-oh-oh Whoa-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Whoa-oh-oh-oh Whoa-oh-oh-oh
We don't even have to try, it's always a good time.

Doesn't matter when
It's always a good time then
Doesn't matter where
It's always a good time there

Doesn't matter when,
It's always a good time then

It's always a good time
Whoa-oh-oh-oh Whoa-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Whoa-oh-oh-oh Whoa-oh-oh-oh
We don't even have to try, it's always a good time

Whoa-oh-oh-oh Whoa-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Whoa-oh-oh-oh Whoa-oh-oh-oh
We don't even have to try, it's always a good time.

Bodegas and Blood by Butch Walker and The Black Widows

I re-listened to this song back in December of 2012 and discovered this song. It was also opportune that I downloaded a copy of Butch Walker's visit to the Daryl Hall's web show Live at Daryl's House. I actually didn't realize the Daryl in the title of the show was THE Daryl Hall from Hall and Oates.

Butch Walker's song is always fun. Somehow I'm just able to relate to his music, similar to how I relate probably to Paul Westerberg's. They are both genius in my opinion.

Walking into a bodega while she's cleaning out her nose
Stuck here in Kenmare Square without a place to go
And it's a beautiful day
And she's a beautiful face
And she'll be fine

And the car wash water oozes down the sidewalk city street
Runs like the flow of blood from her legs
down to the bathroom sink
And as she looks at the street
And then she looks at her feet
And she is fine
So it seems
Yeah
And it's days like these
That keep me on my winning streak
It's all a part of me

And Mr. Harris runs the consignment store where she likes to get her jeans
He was a regular at studio 54
Hanging out with the other queens
And he's the last of the five, to make it out alive
And he is fine
So it seems

Yeah
 And it's days like these
That keep me on my winning streak
It's all a part of me

Little girl, she was an orphan she lost her folks when she was young
Nobody never gave her nothing, she taught herself to get things done
But if she smiles at everyone
And she is made and loved
And we are fine
Yes we are

Oh and it's days like these
That keep me on my winning streak
It's all a part of me

Ooh La La by Faces

I recently saw the movie Rushmore by Wes Anderson. I enjoyed watching the Royal Tenenbaums that I decided to look into other movies by Wes Anderson. From my recollection, the movie was co-written by the brilliant Owen Wilson, one of my favorite actors.

The song was used in the latter part of the movie. The music just resonated in my soul without knowing who the artist was. I googled and lyrics and found out that it was from Faces, written by members Ronnie Wood and Ronnie Lane. Faces launched the careers of Rod Stewart and Ron Wood, who's playing for the Rolling Stones. I read that Rod Steward didn't want to sing this song, so Ronnie got the gig and the song was way better for it.

Poor old Granddad, I laughed at all his words
I thought he was a bitter man
He spoke of women's ways
They'll trap you when they use you
Before you even know
For love is blind and you're far to kind
Don't ever let it show

I wish that I knew what I know now
When I was younger
I wish that I knew what I know now
When I was stronger

The can-can such a pretty show
Will steal your heart away
But backstage back on earth again
The dressing rooms are grey
They come on strong and it ain't too long
For they make you feel a man
But love is blind and you soon will find
You're just a boy again

When you want her lips, you get her cheek
Makes you wonder where you are
If you want some more then she's fast asleep
Leaves you twinkling with the stars
Poor young grandson there's nothing I can say
You'll have to learn, just like me
And that's the hardest way

Ooh la la
Ooh la la, la la, yeah

I wish that I knew what I know now
When I was younger
I wish that I knew what I know now
When I was stronger

I'll Stick Around by Foo Fighters

I recently watched the Foo Fighter's documentary Back and Forth after shelving the idea for more than a year. I've been in a sort of movie/video binge the past few weeks. So far I've seen the following: Easy Rider, The Thing, Prometheus, Six Degrees of Separation and Rushmore. I haven't gotten around watching Reservoir Dogs.

On topic, this was one of the songs that made me buy the 1st Foo Fighters album. The music video made an impression on me especially after learning that the band was led by Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. I liked the idea of someone trying to start something new. I guess that resonated with me (for reasons I really don't know) and have been generally a fan of Foo Fighters music ever since.

I thought I knew
All it took to bother you
Every word I said was true
And that you'll see

How could it be
I'm the only one who sees
Your rehearsed insanity (And I)

I still refused
All the methods you abused
It's alright if you're confused
Let me be

I've been around
All the pawns you've gagged and bound
They'll come back and knock you down
And I'll be free

I've taken all and I've endured
One day it all will fade I'm sure

I don't owe you anything

I had no hand
In your ever desperate plan
It returns and when it lands
Words are due

I should've known
We were better off alone
I looked and I was shown
You were too

I've taken all and I've endured
one day it all will fade I'm sure

I don't owe you anything

I'll stick around
I'll stick around (and)
Learn from all
That came from it

Tornado by The Black Crowes

It seems a "bad day" arrived today. And I feel weary and tired. I put the ipod on shuffle and this song came out before a Notorious B.I.G. song. I liked it. I would have missed it if I was not having a bad day. So I guess bad days are not totally bad after all.

Sit down by the window and watch the tornado
We'll wait for the sheriff to bring some dirty water by
Help yourself out to some of my disaster
Its movin' faster
Than the last time I was on speed
Don't you know what I mean
Cause it's ways and means and your ways are mean
By definition
I could fill this page up with this boys ambitions
But I don't audition
Oh yes that's true
I could never act for you

Heard you saw some friends of mine last winter
Then again, I heard you disappeared into ether
I don't laugh and you smile because I'm tired
I'm feelin wired oh so weary
And oh so old

Am I being too bold
Bold enough to ask you if you really love me
In my shadows and in my breeze
And just one last thing
Please let me say
And that is please,
Oh please, please stay away, from me

With A Little Help from My Friends by Joe Cocker

I first encountered this song via my favorite TV series, The Wonder Years, where it is featured as the show's theme song. Of course, I'm familiar with the Beatles's original version of the song. Joe Cocker definitely made it different, where you could be mislead that it's a different song. Just this weekend, i revisited the song, by watching Woodstock, wherein Joe Cocker won over the crowd.

What would you do if I sang out of tune,
Would you stand up and walk out on me?
Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song
And I'll try not to sing out of key.

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

What do I do when my love is away
(Does it worry you to be alone?)
How do I feel by the end of the day,
(Are you sad because you're on your own?)

No, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

Do you need anybody
I need somebody to love
Could it be anybody
I want somebody to love.

Would you believe in a love at first sight
Yes, I'm certain that it happens all the time
What do you see when you turn out the light
I can't tell you but I know it's mine,

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

Do you need anybody
I just need someone to love
Could it be anybody
I want somebody to love.

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
with a little help from my friends.

Don't You Think Someone Should Take You Home by Butch Walker and The Black Widows

I originally thought that I've blogged about this song already. One of my recent favorites from Butch Walker. He sounds like Ryan Adams on this one. The song's just short of perfect.

Her hair is like a crow's nest
She's got glitter in her eye
Her smile is like a jack-o-lantern
Trying not to cry
She's been living been living pretty hard
Since her old man up and died a year ago

And I see her every morning
While she's walking to the check
She holds her head like she's got something heavy
Hanging 'round her neck

Puts some money in her purse
And hides some where he won't expect before she goes

Don't You Think Someone Should Take You Home
Don't You Think Someone Should Take You Home

Well she stole more than a little
From her folks in Cartersville
With that wrong foot in that right boot
Left a lot of room to fill

With one foot on the platform
And a lot of time to kill
They shoulda' known

Don't You Think Someone Should Take You Home
Don't You Think Someone Should Take You Home

Well I haven't seen her lately
Guess I just assumed the worst
But I think I kinda miss her
Standing there with her lips pursed.

First thing in the morning
Leaning up against the church
Like it's your own

Don't You Think Someone Should Take You Home
Don't You Think Someone Should Take You Home
Don't You Think Someone Should Take You Home

Together by The Fray

I decided to play The Fray's Together EP and listened to the first track. Fortunately I discovered my love for this song. I like how the bass is played, with it's rests and short attacks. I'm not sure if that's a guitar that plays in the intro, but the this features some neat guitar playing as well. I also like how he sings the 2nd "We go together", which I've italicized in the lyrics below.

As the spring in its bloom
The summer stars and the moon
Come and dance with me my love
And we will be...

One, we go together,
I promise forever,
Everyday together,
I live with you. We go together,
I promise forever,
Everyday together,
I live with you.

As the leaves and the trees
The oceans celebrate you and me
We will live to see many days
And we will dream, we'll dream.

We go together,
I promise forever,
Everyday together,
I live with you. We go together,
I promise forever,
everyday together,
I live with you.
