Glorified G by Pearl Jam

I believe i was in grade 5 when my eldest brother introduced us to Pearl Jam. As he hyped to me and Ryan, our other brother, it has a vocalist who climbs monkey bars, as seen in the music video of ALIVE (well i may be wrong). Of course we, as kids, were mesmmerized, not knowing that time that Pearl Jam is not just an act but a REAL BAND!!!

This song comes of from the VS. LP which a very good collection of songs i just began to appreciate again after hearing my older brother's copy. According to sources this song was conceived as an reply to Dave Abbruzzese's (Pearl Jam's drummer) decision to buy guns.

Opening with a solid drum line and guitar riff, it's just one of the songs that really impressed me when i began appreciating what good music is all about. I also didn't have an idea of what the album cover was until i searched for it in wikipedia
