I just love this version by Butch Walker and his band. Why? Because for me, I've gotten used to hearing the original version that the lyrics doesn't already come across to me. Today, I find the genius in Cobain's lyrics. Short of saying that Cobain's GOD! It also helps that Butch Walker is one of my favorite artists.
Sell the kids for food
Weather changes moods
Spring is here again
Reproductive glands
And he's the one who likes
All our pretty songs and he
Likes to sing along and he
Likes to shoot his gun but he
Don't know what it means
He don't know what it means
He don't know what it means
And I say aahh
We can have some more
Nature is a whore
Bruises on the fruit
Tender age in bloom
And he's the one who likes
All our pretty songs and he
Likes to sing along and he
Likes to shoot his gun but he
Don't know what it means
He don't know what it means
He don't know what it means
And I say aahh
Weather changes moods
Spring is here again
Reproductive glands
And he's the one who likes
All our pretty songs and he
Likes to sing along and he
Likes to shoot his gun but he
Don't know what it means
He don't know what it means
He don't know what it means
And I say aahh
We can have some more
Nature is a whore
Bruises on the fruit
Tender age in bloom
And he's the one who likes
